Tear Duct Reconstruction

The tear ducts drain the tears produced by the tear glands. These ducts run from the eyelids down into the nose. If this drain system becomes obstructed, a new drain pipe must be created to restore tear flow into the nose. People with tear duct obstruction have symptoms of tearing and sometimes mattering.
